Our hiring process

30-minute call to align expectations

First we want to check if we’re good cultural fits for each other.

In this call, we will align our expectations (requirements, start date, etc.), talk about the interview process and answer any questions you have.

Testing your skills with a case study

The exact nature of your case depends on the team you applied to.

It might be an ad-hoc or take-home case with a set timeframe, which we will define in collaboration with you.

Final interview with a managing director

You will meet one of our manager directors, as well as your future team lead.

We'll review your case study submission and address any questions you may have. You can expect our hiring decision within three days after the final interview.

Meet the team
(optional)

We organize a lunch with the team so you can meet your future colleagues.

In this setting you can ask whatever comes to your mind in a more relaxed fashion and get to know the team.

Hybrid work model at wattx

Full Flexibility

Our employees can choose to work from anywhere in Germany or from the office. They only need to ensure that they are available for our core working hours.

Team Days

We meet in person for team days to stay connected and develop as a team. We schedule our team days at the beginning of the year.

Clean Desk

We leave our desks in the office empty and clean so that everyone can pick their favorite desk in the morning – first come, first served.

Home Set-up

We provide our team members with all the necessary technical equipment, if needed.
